Ruffwear
To process any Ruffwear warranty claim, we'll need the identifying number for the garment, also known as a PO number. This indicates which batch the item has come from, and helps identify any issues at the point of manufacture.
Almost all PO numbers can be found on a small black tag on the product. This will begin with the lettering 'PO P', followed by 4 numbers, for example "PO P4872".
The below will help you find the PO number to progress your warranty claim.
Apparel
You're in luck! Apparel PO numbers are one of the easiest to locate. You can find the PO number for your apparel at the neck of the coat, underneath the sizing tag.
This is applicable to the following products:
- Climate Changer
- Cloud Chaser
- Fernie
- Overcoat
- Powder Hound
- Quinzee
- Stumptown
- Sun Shower
- Swamp Cooler Zip & Vest
- Vert
Boots
The PO numbers for the boots can be found on black tags, sewn underneath the cinch strap.
This is applicable to the following products:
- Grip Trex
- Polar Trex
Collars
Most collars have a black tag sewn into the webbing, behind the adjuster.
This is applicable to the following products:
- Chain Reaction Collar
- Crag Collar
- Front Range Collar
- Top Rope Collar
- Web Reaction Collar
Confluence Collar PO numbers can be found printed on the inside of the collar:
Knot-a-Collar PO numbers can be found on a sticker inside the belay plate:
Neck Cooling
The Neck Gaiter PO number can be found on the sizing, printed on the inside the garment:
Harnesses
Brush Guard & Core Cooler PO numbers can be found on a black tag inside the belly strap cover:
Front Range, Hi-and-Light, Swamp Cooler & Flagline Harness PO numbers can be found under the webbing at the end of the left strap, inside the pocket:
Omnijore PO numbers can be found on a black tag sewn underneath the webbing at the end of the left rear strap:
Web Master PO numbers can be found on a black tag underneath the webbing at the end of the rear belly strap:
Human Gear
Knot-a-Hitch PO numbers can be found on a black tag sewn inside the main pocket:
Leashes
Double Track Coupler PO numbers can be found on a black tag sewn on flip side of the Ruffwear logo:
Crag PO numbers can be found along the lead, on a small black tag near the Ruffwear logo:
Flat Out, Front Range & Roamer Bungee PO numbers can be found on a black tag sewn inside traffic handle:
Hitch Hiker PO numbers can be found on a small black tag inside the zipped pocket:
Just-a-Cinch, Knot-a-Leash & Knot-a-Long PO numbers can be found on a black tag sewn inside the accessory loop:
Ridgeline & Trail Runner PO numbers can be found on a black tag sewn inside the handle:
Switchbak PO numbers can be found about halfway down the lead, on a black tag, as pictured:
The Quick Draw PO number can be found on a small black tag, near the slider:

Float Coat PO numbers can be found on a black tag under a buckle towards the back of the garment:
Packs
Dog pack PO numbers can be found on a black tag under webbing at the end of the rear belly strap.
This is applicable to the following products:
- Approach Pack
- Palisades Pack
- Singletrak Hydration Pack
Alternatively, they can be found on a small black tag underneath the webbing of the left strap.
This is applicable to the following products:

- Front Range Day Pack
Beacon
The Beacon PO can be found behind the clip on the back of the item:
Rukka
For Rukka, you will need to send a photo of the Check Code on the product. You'll find this on a white tag at the neck of any garment, as pictured:
